A Cultural and Natural History Of Cordilleras Creek Watershed
by Anouk Mackenzie

Neighbors Unite to Protect the Creek

The Friends of Cordilleras Creek hope to share watershed awareness. Efforts by science students at Redwood High School keep the creek clean as it passes through the school property. ‘Creek Cleanups’ in September clear hundreds of pounds of trash from the lower creek. Because much of Cordilleras Creek lies on private property and is the border between jurisdictions, its well-being lies in the hands of the individuals living in the watershed.
